Our Faculty's Department of Painting started its educational activities in 2010-2011 with the admission of its first students. Our department; with professional awareness and responsibility; Creative, questioning, researching, innovative and able to produce independent thinking, respectful to ethical values, high self-confidence, aware of their own cultural roots, suitable for teamwork, contributing to national and international social development, using and interpreting different disciplines together in art production, having theoretical and practical infrastructure aims to raise sensitive and enlightened individuals who can make original artistic works and use the resources in the best way for the benefit of the society and the interests of the country. In Physical Structure; In 2023, there are 3 Painting Studio, 1 Print Painting Studio, 1 Modeling Studio, a total of 5 Studios belonging to the Faculty of Fine Arts building, and 1 classroom for 20 people. There are 6 academic staff working in our department, including 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Lecturers and 1 Research Assistant.
Our graduates will also be able to take part in the academic staff of universities in our country. In addition, they can work as a branch teacher or work as a freelance painter in public institutions and private institutions.
